La serie “Prima-Dopo” nasce dall’esigenza di documentare i cambiamenti che hanno trasformato la città. Questo progetto mi ha portato a tornare ripetutamente negli stessi luoghi, osservandone non solo le trasformazioni avvenute nel tempo, ma anche l’effetto che il diverso momento della giornata, e quindi una luce diversa, può avere sulla percezione dello stesso spazio.
Le immagini presentano situazioni complementari, offrendo due prospettive distinte per raccontare uno stesso soggetto o luogo. Ogni fotografia diventa così una riflessione sul tempo, sulle trasformazioni che ridefiniscono i luoghi e sui paesaggi che, attraverso i loro mutamenti, narrano storie.

The “Before-After” series was born out of the need to document the changes that have transformed the city. This project led me to return repeatedly to the same places, observing not only the transformations that occurred over time, but also the effect that the different moment of the day, and therefore a different light, can have on the perception of the same space.
The images present complementary situations, offering two distinct perspectives to tell the same subject or place.
Each photograph thus becomes a reflection on time, on the transformations that redefine places and on the landscapes that, through their changes, tell stories.
